In some ways, this is a very pro­gres­sive take on fan­ta­sy. It's an Aber­crom­bie book, so ex­pect be­tray­al, bad things hap­pen­ing to all good char­ac­ter­s, to most bad char­ac­ter­s, all main char­ac­ter­s, and 90% of sec­ondary char­ac­ter­s. BAD THINGS TO AL­L.

OTO­H, it's quotable, fun­ny, good di­a­logue, and the end­ing is not bad at al­l.
