Three Princes

Review:

Can a book have too much world building? It's not that it's expository or anything, but the actual plot seemed somewhat superficial compared to obvious love and care applied in the characters and the description of the alternate history.

Liked it anyway, I'd love to read a sequel that was a bit more plot-driven.

Allegiant (Divergent, #3)

Review:

Horribly written, "mean girls after the apocalypse" garbage. And I love mean girls. Every character in the book is an idiotic asshole who had me rooting for another apocalypse to come soon so they all died.

And the "twist" near the end? Blech.

The Martian

Review:

It's incredibly old-fashioned, a throwback to Asimov's "problem stories". So, you are a guy, you are in Mars, and nobody can help you for a few years. Start thinking.

Plus, it's funny (which Asimov really sucked at)
