The Gates of Byzantium (Purge of Babylon, #2)

This series is crack. It's probably not any good, but I can't stop reading it.
Stephen King style pageturner about postapocalyptic vampire-zombies (zompires? vambies? ok, vambies doesn't sound nearly threatening enough.

Worried that there are 6 volumes in all and my to-read queue is already out of control.

The Purge of Babylon (Purge of Babylon, #1)

I was fairly surprised by this book. It's very, very shallow, and it's really not funny, but it's a pageturner. It's like having a zuchini / eggplant sandwich, two ingredients I totally hate, yet at the end saying "hey, that's not a bad sandwich". Total mistery.
