<p>I understand this book is not for everyone. I understand the idea of a parallel universe with an Alaska Jewish state, famous for their Shoyfer cellphone brands, inhabited by yiddish-speaking cop refugees from 40s noir novels, about to be reintegrated Hong Kong-like into the US is not for everyone.<br /><br />So, it's not for everyone, but it's for some, and if it's for you, it's awesome.</p>
