<p>I am a sucker for epistolary novels. I like time travel stories that create a understandable past world. And this book is both. It's also lots of fun, and well written.<br /><br />I didn't like <a href="https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/20336279.Siege_Perilous__Foreworld___5_" title="Siege Perilous (Foreworld, #5) by E.D. deBirmingham" rel="nofollow noopener">Siege Perilous</a> so I am really glad I did not know this was the same author (using a pseudonym) before I got this one and the previous book in the series <a href="https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/32075825.The_Rise_and_Fall_of_D_O_D_O___D_O_D_O___1_" title="The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O. (D.O.D.O. #1) by Neal Stephenson" rel="nofollow noopener">The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O.</a> <br /><br />Looking forward to a sequel if there ever is one.</p>
